I seen a post in the general archery forum the other day asking about how to go about removing wraps from an arrow. So I desided to post a few photos of some very easy step-by-step directions on removing arrow wraps.
Step 1. Remove you knock from the arrow. If you can't take them out dont worry about it. To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 1 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. Step 2. Run hot tap water into a sink and place the arrow(s), fletching side into the hot water. Let them soak in the hot water for about 15 minutes. (this is why I like to remove the knock, I feel it allows the hot water to heat the inside of the arrow to help with loosening up the glue on the wrap) Make sure you use some sort of heavy object to hold the arrows under the water. To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 1 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. Step 3. With your thumbnail, find the leading seam on the wrap and gently start pushing the seam away from the arrow. To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 1 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. Continue with this all the way to the end of the wrap. To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 1 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. Make sure you leave the fletching on this will give you some leverage on peeling the wrap completely off. To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 1 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. Now finish peeling the wrap off the arrow and you have a clean shaft ready to be refletched. To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 1 or greater. If you happen to notice some glue left on the arrow, just take a warm damp cloth and the glue from the wrap will easily wipe off.

Oh man.. this isn't good. When I cleaned out some of my pics on photobucket I must of deleted the pics of this arrow wrap removal process. My bad everyone. I'll take some new pics soon and repost them.

Sounds like good info. The blow dryer works, but can be a slow process.
