I have had OT2 for quite some time now, though I am still figuring it out. But I was wondering what I need to do to update it? I purchased the download from the internet, so I don't have a CD, and not sure about my registration key. Thanks.

Your ability to update the program does not expire. You can download and install program updates whenever you need them, through the Contact Us/Check For Updates option or directly from the website by downlaoding the latest full version. Just follow the instructions on the update webpage regarding exiting the app prior to running the update install.


If the program can't access the update link on the webpage, it could be your AV software or firewall software is blocking. Similar to when your e-mail program won't let you click on a link.

Rather than trying to figure out why OT2 can't access the update link, it's sometimes just easier to start your web browser of choice, visit the Pinwheel website, and download the latest version.

There is probably an OS, Browser, or AV setting somewhere that prevents the update link from opening the download dialog. I haven't been able to find it, but if you do, let me know.
