I will attempt to keep a blog about all of my hunting trips this year...possibly even some of my dad's we'll see how it goes.

Saturday (10/10) Afternoon - Saw nothing, first time using a climbing tree stand...That is a good work out...learned to pick better trees...trail and error no falls, just fighting the bark.
Sunday (10/11) Morning - Saw 1 doe from my stand about 8:30 then had to leave for church
Monday (10/12) Morning - Tried the stand in the draw. Skunk walked directly under me at first light, stopped for a minute at the base of the ladder and then walked on..whew...Saw 5 turkeys from about 8:00-8:30 never came close enough, man i wish i had taken a turkey call.
Dad went to the new stand south of the creek. 2 does too far away small 4pt that walked within 5 yards...he decided to pass.
That is a brief recap of this weekends hunting trips...Hopefully I will make it out on Thursday.
