Actually DD, that picture was much better before I ran it through my new photo editing software!

It is supposed to be an improved version of my old program, but I don`t see it!

The camera is a Sony DSC-F717. And that buck is not all that big. Amazing what the right angle can do for you. That bucks grosses 150 6/8".

BTW, whats up with the Deere phone? Been trying to call you for like 2 hours now! :?

...and I think my cell phone is having some, lets just say "issues" ...of course it my original and is 4-5 years old now...been dropped from every location known to man...I'm looking to get a NEXTEL as a Christmas present(to myself of course 8) )...

...MidMo...lol...don't know about you, but I finally had to go to one of those HUNTER SAFETY SYSTEMS so I could sleep without worrying about falling out of the tree and hanging myself!!! :P ...

Have any game cam pics of the PA bucks?

Have many mature bucks on the property? Not Nec. P&Y but mature. Also what county is the property on?

After I talk with my buddy I will hit you back with a PM from our PM'S over at AT.

Buckeyebuckhntr, sorry man, no trailcam photos. I am getting a couple of digital cameras built right now.

Yes, we do have some mature bucks there. I passed on a 130" eight point yesterday. I guess I should have given him a dose of SST Hammer, but I still have Pike county on the brain. :?

This property is in Greene county, PA.

I am having a heck of a time with AT in general, and especially the PM system. Gotta run an errand for the missus, I`ll get back to you!

Guys,

Keep an eye on the pics so that they dont scroll off the right side of the screen.

You should NOT have any code showing when you are done. I fixed these so you can see them without having to scroll

Thanks

Small world indeed! That buck was killed a couple of years ago. The hunter is a good friend of mine. He killed that buck on his first trip to Pike county.

He hunted a total of ..........5 minutes!

What did that bad boy score?

I would guess mid 160's gross.

Does he live over here in OH or PA?

Big Country
12-04-2004, 10:11 AM
The hunter lives in PA.

As to the bucks score.......I really missed my guess on this one. I video taped this buck on a friday afternoon and replayed the tape on a TV. I guessed the buck at 163".

We got this hunter in a stand where we figured that buck would come back into the timber on saturday morning.

5 minutes after shooting light, the 12 point was on the ground.

P&Y gross.....164 6/8".

Naw, 60% of my hunters did not kill a buck this year.

Half of those that did not kill one elected to pass on 125-130" bucks though.

I know that I had more than my fair share of opportunities to kill a 130-150 class buck... holding out for 160" plus was my decision and I enjoyed every minute of the two weeks... even the waiting in a tree like a BUZZARD....:D

Big Country

Javi, you done a good job learning to perch on a limb!

Can`t wait till next year to do it again.

Might as well throw up another happy hunter.......
