Who's still bowhuntin?

Just wanted to know who's still out there toting the bow? My season, more than likely is over from toe surgery, but i'm gonna try to get out at least once or twice anyway, regardless of what the 'doc' says :lol: Good luck to you if your season is still in.

We have until Jan18 for a doe and spike season, I think I will hunt next weekend.

As far as deer hunting our season ended on the 1st of Jan. However, we are still currently hunting hogs! I just have not had the time to do anything other then check the feed stations! :( I am hoping that this coming week I can stick some porkage!

I am done bowhunting for deer here in Indiana, I ended up with a fat doe and no buck, I was really paticular this year and passed up some nice ones I had three encounters with this guy but passed him up everytime I saw him 3 days ago so I know he is still alive, I am now bowhunting for bunnies and it is a blast.

Hunted today saw some turkeys and had a bobcat come right under me . He had the same idea as me turkey dinner ! We both went hungry :icon_frown: Kinda crazy hunting with all the ice melting and falling off the trees , timber was noisy.

Our deer season still is going on until the end of January, since I work retail, I'll be hunting wed/thur this week. Hope to show some pics.

$100 for 2 piggy wiggies and $200 for a 20" or less blackbuck and that is dirt cheap !!! :shock:

Wow that is cheap...I was planning on a hog hunt in April to Texas and I believe it was $250 but since I found out today that my professors have have scheduled two long range exams on the day we were leaving, I can't go. :cry:

The owner told me over on AT he saw one that'll go 450# with 5" tuskerooos.......I wanna stalk that mini-tank ! ooooohhhyeahhhhhh 8)

Ours ends the 13th so i feel a cold coming on so i will be out tomorrow to try to put a little last minute meat in the freezer. I went Sunday evening and had 20 deer in the field @50 yards but could not close the deal even when I called one in to 15 yards but just couldn't get the shot. Also had (3) bobcats come into the field about 100 yards out. It is rare enough to see one here in IL let alone three running together.

We have 'till the 31st here in ol' alabam'!!! But it's so darn warm, 73 degrees today[1-11]. It may get all the way down to the 40's this weekend. A real coldspell. Being from N.W. Missouri, I'm not used to this........

still hunting here in maryland,,, seeing alot of does 20 to 30 at a time they are yarded up pretty good , then at times i dont see a single deer... i have been bowhunting for about 20 years and saw my first albino doe last week .. our season ends jan 31,,, good luck to those who are still hunting

Lookin at the weather, I think I'll be out in my Matrix blind tomorrow bowhunting deer. Nice and cold....yeahhhhhhh
