Rob.... I may be wrong but I think Tejas shoots traditional? Therefore, for the NFAA 5 spot game, he would shoot the single spot face.
I could be way off on that, just the thoughts bouncing around in my head.. and yes, there is a lot of empty space up there for them to fly ;)

The Rob forgot that they like shootin' at the single spots, however that would fall under the 5 spot target, wouldn't it?
As for the empty space......well, the Rob will save his comments on that until another post. :icon_lol: :icon_lol: :icon_wink:

Ahhhhh, Field Archery Rob. Yeaaaaaa, that's the ticket!
I go into a field, stand in one spot, shoot all my arrows, never find them. That's One Spot! :new_rofl:   ya!
It's Traditional since that's always been the way I've done it too...
I also relate to Bug's cerebral vacuum theorem... :5emoticon: :5bye:

I like Field / hunter rounds. Shooting at distances from 25' to 80 yards, can make you a decent archer.
3 spot vegas is very challenging to a 50year old pair of eyes.

I voted for the 5 spot but injoy the FLINT round also.
I dont think there is a club anywhere up here that shoots a FLINT.... That would be fun if they did,

Vegas over 5spot but both are good. I think if i want to be really good at Vegas it's gonna cost me some $$$ to dial it in better.
we will see, i just spent a few bucks on an old bow Q2XL, bought a SL2BR cam for her (30") and just made the string tonight, cable will be tomorrow. I like to let them settle in with 150lbs or so on them overnight. Sunday i will finally find out if this bow is going to explode or give me that extra stability i need.
she looks ok some rub marks (worn dipping) on the limbs and fading but no cracks or noises when i drew her back!!
Thinking now about a Black hi-gloss urethane with added clear coat.

5 spot for me, Vegas too intimidating for me, I haven't shot a half of 5 spot and be 150 with 30'x's , so my Vegas scores aren't very respectable.
