I have been to Myrtle Beach several times but it has been a while. I am also not certain where the old AF base is. I want some recommendations for motels. I can't afford 150 a night but I also don't want one that the roaches will carry me off in my sleep. Any opinions?
I will be posting hotels and maps on the ASA site pretty soon...
The air base is located in the south part of town... a little south of the airport..
hope to see you there...

For those so equiped, there will be GPS coordinates in the tour guide and on the ASA Web Site for each Pro/Am site.
They will be posted in Lat/Long and Deg/Min/Sec.
It'll sure make it easier for 1st time players to find the places. :D
If it hadn't been for the GPS last year me and Skip would still be trying to find the FL site after I took that wrong turn LOL

Thanks. I don't have a GPS but the maps and hotel would help.

The Coral Reef in South Myrtle Beach is NICE.
That early in the year it is easy on the wallet also.
Hey, why don't we do the ASA Championship and IBO World in MB? 8)
For one because the Shoot down at the Civic Center in Columbus ROCKED!!
I liked that alot and they were awesome to all of us at the ASA. The whole city really bent over backwards to accomodate us (shooters)

Even better why don't we make all the shoots at MB :D
I do wish the IBO would have one down there.

I think I stayed at the Sheraton 4 Points, but can't be sure.
It was decent. The pool wasn't the greatest but hey..... I was shooting
Price wasn't too bad. Only about 5 minutes from the shoot too!
