It sure works okay, but you've got some small pics there! Have these been taken with the phone camera or did you just reduce them so strongly from the originals?
If I may suggest, when you prepare the pics for the upload, keep them generally about VGA or SVGA size. That would be 640 x 480 and 800 x 600 respectively. I'm using ACDSee (v.8) to achieve that, and I do it to all pics in the specific folder as a batch, with one command. With ACDSee you can specify, for instance, the size as 640 x 640, and force either vertical or horizontal formats to fit in there.
Now, sometimes with JPEG, pics will still show files larger than 256KB, because the contents of the picture partially determine the file size. If that is the case, I open the picture in some editor and reduce the resolution - going from 72dpi toward 60. When the picture is under 256KB, it's ready to be posted up.
Of course, you've got to post up several times in cases like here, but the pics look better!
