A hunting you will go...A hunting you will go..
You'll have to take them both you know...

You'll like the 34 as much as you like the 36! :D

Are there major differences between the 36 and 34?

The major difference between the 36 and the 34 is the ATA length. :D
The Elite 34 is 2 inches shorter than the Elite 36....the reason we came out with the Elite 34 and the Elite 32 was so many archers wanted shorter ATA length bows. :) As we all know the longer the ATA the more forgiving the bow.

Thanks LT...I figured as much but rather than assuming...I thought I'd ask...
....since I'm assuming I didn't win one at the BRS...esp since I wasn't there LOL...I'm having to look carefully at what to purchase...was hoping to try a Storm at the BRS but unfortunately had to make a last minute change of plans (as posted in the Gen Sect)...anyhow...I've hunted with bows with ATAs from 32 to 38 inches...so I guess it doesn't really matter to me :D
Take care...Ray

Yep,
I would Actually go with the 32, but it wont go out to y draw length :( So I guess the 34 will have to do :D

With a IBO legal arrow at 30" draw and 63# I was getting 308 I think.

With my 60# Elite backed out to 55#, a 29" draw, 29" 385 grain CX-300's, I'm getting 264 fps Ray. Cranked all the way up, she's 64#. IBO speed according to Hunter's Friend.com is 308 fps.
Here's "your" bow and it's new owner too. Weezl.

Great shot isn't it? Gotta give credit to MOBUCK for the shutter work. He certainly knows how to take a good photo.
Interesting side note. That lady in the background is Hunter Howdy's wife Mary who won last years bow give-away!
Expect a call from Jim Rumps of Select Archery soon. I just talked to him minutes ago. He's already working on how to move more Storm bows! Nice guy! I like him. He brings much innovation to archery!

Thanks for the info Razzman...and I'm certainly glad Weezl won my bow...he seems like a great kid!! The Storm products certainly look nice (and I like single cams)...and one of these days I'll get to try one...but unfortunately..the funds say 'Sorry Charlie' LOL...I'd hate to make the kids eat beans and franks for six months LOL

Man...I gotta get online more often...this football practice is killing me LOL Well, it's pretty tough on Louis, too LOL
Jim, just got your pm and sent ya one back. I'm getting ready to leave for the weekend (attending one of the two large adoption gatherings we help put together and will be meeting Ramsey's birthmom again...haven't seen here since we adopted Ramsey nearly six years ago, but we have an open adoption and have kept in contact with her...she recently movewd to Seattle so we scraped some cash together and flying her out to Cincinatti for the gathering...we're all pretty excited about that!!) MAn I get off-track too easy sometimes LOL
We'll get in touch next week for sure....
And Mobuck, just throw in the towel and switch over to single cams...you'll be kicking yourself in the ash for not doing it sooner LOL
....until then, hope you all have a good weekend!!

I seem to shoot it better then anything else I've owned. I've had a CIII with Nitrous Cams, and have a Nice Newberry Sabre XL just hanging on the wall, I just can't get use to the low let off with it :(. I'm in the market for another SOLO and like the looks of the Storm bows, just wish I could have spent more time shooting them at the BRS.
Heere's my Old bow, love shooting it :)

Thanks Dave! I like that one!
Yea, if I remember correctly, ET said something Sunday morning about a demo Elite that the price was seriously right on. You can't hardly afford NOT to jump on that one! Scrape it together somehow or another, cause that deal won't come along very often.
Wish you'd said something to me about shooting the Storm some more! I'd have had your paws on mine and flinging arrows in about a heartbeat buddy. I hope some folks got to shoot it at the Select Archery booth there at the Sims, because that was MY bow there along with his Pearsons. I wanted to get some folks to handle these fine works of art!
How much did you get to shoot the Elite that WR had for a trial?

Don't they have a mod that you can change for the let off? The one thing I like about my Alpine Fatal Impacts...besides the fact that it's solo...is that not only can I adjust the DL in 1/2 inch increments (from 27-31inches)...but you can easily change from the standard 80% let off to 65% and back just by switching out a module. Since it's for hunting, I usually have the 65% mod in it...anyhow...it's very adjustable...and easliy adjustable...all without a bow press.
Anyhow...sorry for getting off topic...so...what colors/cammo do the Elites come in? :D

The camo is Realtree Hardwoods HD in the fall pattern...brown leaf
You can also get it in target models of blue, red or black.... :)
