Ladies and gents heading to BRS,
I am proud to announce that Select Archery and Outdoor Suppy will have a special target at BRS with a chance for the winning shooters to win the following:
1 Ben Pearson 2006 Spoiler Plus Compound Bow - right hand - 70# - 29" (I'll have mods to get the draw length you want)
3 Archery Stand By bow holders (used to hold the bows for the shoot - brand new before the shoot)
5 FOP Hollow Point Center Shot Peep Sights
5 FOP Trifecta Center Shot Peep Sights

Here's the way it's going to work. At the end of the Sims range, I'll have a lane lined up. Look for the Select Archery banner, the Ben Pearson banner or the FOP posters. I will have a table set up with the bow and prizes displayed.

A target will be set at 25 or 30 yards. If you hit the hollow point (see attached picture - area of hollow point is approx 3" x 3"), then you will get your name entered to win one of the prizes mentioned above.

So how do you shoot it? I will have my Ben Peason Generation II at 28" 60# set up with the FOP Hollow Point Center Shot Peep and my new Ben Pearson Stealth at 28" 70# set up with the FOP Trifecta Center Shot Peep. I may also bring a Genesis set up with the FOP Hollow Point Peep for those that can't shoot a short guy's bow. You can use your own release or use my Carter Insatiable release.

Why shoot my bows? Two reasons: I want people to shoot what I believe to be the best peeps out there today and I want people to have the experience of shooting what I consider to be two of the best bows I sell.

The shoot will happen on Saturday afternoon afer the main shoot when people are on the Sims range. The prizes will be announced when WR finally gets done shooting Saturday evening.

I will have information about the FOP series of center shot peep sights and Ben Pearson compound bows and David Strathman, the inventor of the FOP Center Shot Peep, will also be there. If you are interested, please stop by and take the opportunity to win some great prizes. If you have any questions, please pm me or drop me an email at jim@selectarchery.com

I'm really looking forward to seeing you all at BRS and having a great time participating in a sport we all love.

Thanks,
Jim

Jim.....this sounds great. This is the exact information that I passed on to LinnCoMO with the Green Hills Archers. I am sure they can accommodate.

This will be a great opportunity for everyone to see one of the latest innovations and possibly win more BRS prizes :icon_thumleft:

What I am most excited about is the fact that your bows are the same draw length as mine :D

I've got a Morrell Super Duper target and stand on the way just for the shoot. I'll also be using my CXL2 arrows with the Generation II and my Easton ACCs for the Stealth.

I'll bring 4-5 target faces just in case WR starts shooting the middle out. That brings up a good point. How many shots should a person get? 1 with each bow?

How about 2 shots with one bow and 1 shot with the second bow? Shooter's choice on the bow used??? The downside may be the time involved for 3 shots:(

This will allow the shooter one shot to determine where the bow shoots for them and adjust there aim to hit the mark. The one shot with the other bow will let them experience the other peep and bow.

I am sure everyone will be happy with whatever you decide.

Arky doesn't own a "High Dollar Hoyt".......I have an old hunting bow :)

I'll also bring a Mathews Genesis Kit in Hardwoods for those that need a lower draw weight and various draw lengths. It will be outfitted with an FOP Hollow Point as well.

I will also be bringing some FOP Hollow Point and Trifecta Center Shot Peeps for a special BRS price if anyone is interested.

I was thinking that also, "but" ...... if it's set up at the "end" of the Sim's they could shoot this round anytime during the evening or as they rotate off the line ......... I'm just hoping that Jim bring's LOT'S of arrow's ??? I do get to shoot til I hit the paper........ RIGHT ??????? :D
