Thanks WR. I guess what I am asking is if we are shooting for the fun of it and not to qualify for ASA can we still fling what we bring?We [ Miss Mary, two of the Grand kids,and me] will be there in 10 more days. Will be there around noon Friday. Can't wait.

If you are shooting the Qualifier the speed limit is 280 with 3% variance allowed for chrono error (it can read 288fps on the machine). The chrono I am bringing is accurate to less than 1fps so you get 8 free fps (I use it to make sighttapes with Archers Advantage). If you aren't shooting the Qualiifier the only speed limit is whatever the BRS Committee has set in the past.

I'm not familiar with what the BRS limit is, if any, but as "length challenged" as my arms are, I do good to get 280 out of my 30'06 :new_rofl:

Steve OLD buddy :D ..... you go just as dang fast as you want to at the BRS :5moped: and if you've got one of those 350 FPS rig's, we'd sure like to look it over :eusa_think: ......
Only the one's that sign up as the ASA Qualifer will have the speed limit, and you will need to go by the rules if you shoot the regular club shoot on Sunday.

The BRS is all about having fun folks, brung what ya got, home made, hand made, factory built...... we don't care :icon_cool: ...... we want to see the kids, grandkids, neighbors kids, neighbors, aunt's, uncle's, grandma & grandpa anyone thats got time to have ALOT of fun :eusa_dance: ...... you won't win any big money at the Braggin Right's Shoot :PDT_Armataz_01_16: but we're a fixin to give Everyone something the banker can't take away and will last you a lifetime, Memories & new friends :hello2: ......

They are still 45 for Federation Shoots to keep from having clubs to add another stake to the picket line of the 6 that they already have to set...
