Less than 4 months, Wow!

Man I was sitting here at the keyboard on the brutally hot June afternoon and it occurred to me, less than four months til the Texas archery opener! October will be here before we know it. I know some of you guys get to go sooner too.

I know! I missed the cutoff date for applying to hunt up on the Haggerman Wildlife Refuge since I've been working so hard to get my boat repairs finished. I was really looking forward to hunting up there too... :(

Oh well, there are other places in the public domain for me to stalk Bambi! :D

Yep, PA season starts Sep. 30 I believe. Man my heart is racing already, better get my shooting up to par.

my Brother and I are out to Newfoundland for Moose on Labor day weekend. Wish Us luck.

Deer starts here on sep. 1st. then elk on sep.8. will be fun. Hope i get drawn for a bull tag this year. have been trying for 4 years now. spike or cow if you didnt get drawn. i have taken 3 elk 1 spike and 2 cows. i want a wall hanger. the last 3 years i have been out hunting and have called in some huge bulls within 40 yards. one day my father and i called in 3 bulls they came in about 5 minits apart and were racking trees and bugling. it was awesome. i love the sound of a screaming bull in the MTS. the elk in the pic is the firs elk i shot. i used an old darton bow shot the elk at 78 yards. ever since then i have used a bow will never go back to a rifle. cant wait to shoot an elk with my 06 bowtech allegiance hahahha :D :D
