Thanks for the info on the films. I'd wondered exactly where they came from for a while. I'd love to have a copy of that old classic film. No telling how many archery careers and hobbies it's started!

Thanks Tejas, for moving this, and for the kind welcome.

You are right, Howard Hill is who got me started in traditional archery (through the Adventures of Robin Hood), and it's great to see his old films, and how good he was. I have no desire to shoot a re-curve or a compound. I've shot a few medieval style bows, but they are a lot harder to shoot than a Hill style bow. :D
