I purchase the shaft selector program and installed it on my desktop and also wanted to load it on my laptop. I tried using my reg data from the desktop install and couldnt register the software on the laptop. So I had to purchase it again. How can I save my registration data, just in case my computer crashes. I did the save registration but have not been able to use any of that info at all. Am I doing something wrong??
All the download programs are single user/single system licenses.
With TAC and SFA, additional licenses cost $15. The Shaft Selector program is so inexpensive that you just purchase it for each computer you want to use it on.
With all the programs, the license is not transferrable, so moving the license file from computer to computer doesn't have an effect on the registered staus. The "save" feature the program has is so you can backup the license file as an additional "proof of purchase", in case you do have a computer crash.

How do I re-register after re-installing program (download version)? How do I retrieve the license # from lisense file?
I've re-installed operating system & programs including Ontarget2. Right now Ontarget2 is in trial mode, asking me to buy it or register it. I've already bought it. How can I make it full feature again?
Removed hard drives (RAID 0) containing Ontarget2 from older computer, put them in new computer build (RAID 0). Installed Windows XP Pro 32 bit OS with service pack 2 & programs (incl. OnTarget2) on new computer. I have copy of license file in My Documents on new computer.
I currently have only have one copy (trial version) of OnTarget2 installed on one computer.
How can I continue to use the product I paid for?
E-mail was sent regarding this.
The one thing you gloss over is that you are not re-installing on the original computer the program was purchased on...you are installing on a different, "new" computer. Since there is no way of proving that you have uninstalled or are not using on the original system, this is normally handled as "an additional license".
