If you are having problems getting the program to update and it shows that even though you downloaded and installed the update the older revision then you have a setting in one of your firewall settings that is intercepting the rewrite of the .exe.
No problem at all.....
Click start and find your control panel. Find Add Remove Programs. Remove TAP from your computer.
Login to the website and download the FULL version and save it.
Now install the FULL version and once done register. Then check for updates and all should be fixed.
This is far easier then trying to adjust your firewall settings to allow the update to take place....
