I just made my mind up that I am shooting Hunter class this year, I like pins alot simply because they are less to deal with, I was out shooting tonight and I thought I would have a problem gapping pins but I didnt do to bad.
Plus I dont have to change set-ups from hunting. I hope I have fun this 3-D season, also my buddy is shooting hunter class so I will be shooting alot with him.

I'm with you. PDT_Armataz_01_34

I shot Open for the first time last year. I liked having one pin, and setting for an exact yardage. I think I enjoyed shooting pins a little more.

My scores were about the same. If I have a bad day, it doesn't matter what I aim with :)

I have shot both but pins are more fun for me so that is what I stick with.

I shot my highest 3-D score with pins, I think I am going to enjoy it more for one it is my hunting set-up and my buddy shoots pins and we can both compete on the same level.

Hunter Class here as well........to be honest I just do not get enough practice time with Open class yardages to shoot well enough to have fun. Without doing it all the time everything starts to look the same beyond 40 yards.
All the scopes and gadgets are fun at times, but I get more enjoyment out of Hunter and am competetive so that's what I'll shoot.
First outdoor shoot this Sunday!

Going to give Hunter Finger Class a try this year, have shot open for years but getting tired of the long yardage. My first shoot will be at the Indoor World at the IX Center in Cleveland in March. I will practice a good bit before then, hopefully by then I can hit something.

Hunter class as well here. I started for fun but got a little competitive so I will compete but it's also for hunting practice.

The pitiful part is that BowTie had all those Benjamins BEFORE we went on the range.* Gotta wonder about a dude that walks into an ambush that he know's is there* :?

The Rob on the other hand is just a product of Ala-F'in-Bama genitics*

What!?!?!?!* You mean Hopkins wrote a CHECK for a $1.00** He must have been surprised when OBT put it on him like that.* Sorta brings back memories of VA this past year.* PDT_Armataz_01_40

Hunter class here.......I really enjoy shooting the hunting style equipment. I enjoy really knowing what I can and cannot do with my equipment. I feel it helps me set true limits in a hunting situation, even though 3-d's do not simulate a hunting situation 100%. Plus that open class stuff is expensive.....lol.......plus I am not that good..lol.......... :P
