scrapes now!!

I have found a few scrapes still 'active'.....I never noticed this before!

Year has been someting from the past!!! We still have some running around with racks still on and rubbing!!! Kinda unusual for this time of year :icon_scratch: :huh:

While rare, I have heard of scrapes this time of year before. Ours are still carrying racks as well. I wonder, I see small nubbin bucks butting heads acting out. Wonder if they might make scrapes. Don't know.

I found a VERY FRESH scrape 2-7-09. It was as big as a truck hood and had large and small tracks. No tine marks though, but still seeing bucks with antlers but have seen some without.

I would think even secondary ruts are over everywhere. Never seen or heard of any this late.

Nothing susprises me anymore!! weird year for sure.........

I have heard of deer managers saying that they observe community scrapes year round.

maybe just hear say:D
