Let's assume your Peep Sight thinks it has been jerked to and fro enough for a small thing like it is, and decides to fly away.

**It happens, as you know, and mostly when you need it the least. :)

Since your replacement peeps rest safely in the box back in the garage, you're forced to make do.

So, here's how to make that do, using a bit of thread, preferably black.

Make two of those, like, eye nocking points, and adjust the gap between them so that you see them close to each other when your bowstring is drawn. The picture will be fuzzy, but the "docking" angle between them will be quite distinguishable. Leave a bit of bowstring to be seen there too.

Align the pin dot in there, and if need be, compensate for the new lateral angle a bit by pushing the pin somewhat out.

This peep sight will have enough light - always! It will rotate with your bowstring stretching, so what? The price is, err, more than acceptable, you'll agree. And the mass added to the string is just a bit above nothing.

You might like it so much that you'll leave it on, because it is so practical.

After all, it's only a question of practice.

:D

That is a great idea!

Yet another Oldaro tip to print out and file away in the archery notebook.

Thanks for posting this,
