If you got 2 archery "any deer" tags and had 3 weeks off in late season to hunt with a good friend, would you keep one tag for the late season for that chance to hunt when you have time off or would you use both tags (if you get the chance) before your time off?

Just wondering if you would take the meat or take the 3 weeks to hunt with your best friend?

While I hunt the meat first, the hunt is more than the meat. I also enjoy the camaraderie of hunting among other things. If it were a good friend I'd wait. JMO

Yep no doubt about it, I would wait also. As you get older, you will learn there is so much more to hunting than just the kill. I have been hunting 36 years and it still amazes me at what I learn and become aware of .

I couldn't agree more. Make it last, especially with a good friend.

Well that's what I'm doing. It wasn't a hard decision because I havent tagged out yet but I was just wondering what everyone's opinions were.

mo_bowhunter,
If you're in Missouri, you can buy unlimited anterless tags for $7.00 each, if needed.* *=D>
Some counties are limit the number of anterless tags that you can use. Check the MDC website for info.
