View Full Version : centering the pin guard ?
this year i am gonna make an honest effort to center the pin guard in the peep instead of the individual pin. my questions are, what size peep is common to fit the TR sights? and will the pin gaps change? if so by how much and in what manner, more pin gap or less pin gap? folks that are using this method, have you noticed an increase in accuracy?

TXD,
Alot of varialbes come into play while trying to center the housing to the peep. DL is one since the sight radius will change do to different draws and the amount of distance from peep to sight. Also the length of the site bar plays into this for the same reason.
The TR sights on my hunting bow like a 1/8 peep and I have a 28.25" draw or close. But if you are a longer draw you can maybe be by witha 1/16 or so. Really just takes some playing around with different sizes to see what you like and what works best.
