what arrows do you like out of compounds carbon or alum........how about recures? Carbon ,wood or alum?

I use both carbon and aluminum out of my compund

I like both.....depends on what the game is.

Field and 900 rounds=Navigators carbon/aluminum

Indoor spots= 2314 Cobalts aluminum

3-D= 2312 Cobalts aluminum

Hunting= Beman ICSH400 carbon

Recurve= 2218 XX78 aluminum


Plus about 20 other sizes just to experiment with! Good thing all arrows look the same to my wife! :lol:

I have been shooting carbons since they debuted on the market and never had one blow up or even come close and I do quite a bit of testing too.

I like the Gold Tip 22 Pros for 3D,

Gold Tip XT Hunters for hunting,

and Gold Tip wood grain carbons for my recurve. I bend too many aluminums with my recurve! :shock:

I am using a new shaft for me this year I just set up my new Carbon Express CXL 250 SHAFTS, I really like them alot and I have a bigger diameter which I favor but dont sacrafice the speed.
