Seen a few guys using these endless d loops rather than tie on d-loops, and was wondering if anyone knows how to make them.

Welcome to ASN beginner. :PDT_Armataz_56:

I hope someone can help you with this. I've seen them and have wondered the same thing.

It's easy. You wick ten or so rounds of FastFlite or bowstring material around the tips of two of your fingers. Then tie the free ends together.

Now you have a "string ring"!

Put it behind the bowstring so that it stretches across the middle of the ring (halves it), and the knot where you tied the ends is near the bowstring. Fold the ring toward you, so that it forms the "D" on the bowstring. At this moment, it didn't have to be at its proper position. Anywhere on the bowstring would do. But now you'll have to put the "D" on the outside of the nocking point.

Now is the time for some fine fingerplay. You'll have to serve the "D" from the upper to the lower point where the string ring went around the bowstring. Make sure the lower fold goes below the lower nocking point!

That would be it. But there is a better and quicker way, and you'll find it in this forum. It's titled Free Rotating D-Loop.

Here's a picture of one I found over at Archery Experts (http://store.yahoo.com/archery-experts/index.html)
If RangeRunner see's this thread, he can show us how to build them.........he done it on two nails, easy to build, but I forget the lengths :-(.
It does require taking the string off one end to apply :-( but last a very long time after installed :-)

Good one, WR, and it's easy taking the measurement off the pic. Take the measuring unit either from the served string thickness, or the loop or release diameter. Offhand, I'd say that the nails oughta be about 2 inches apart, and even 4 centimeters would be okay, but not shorter...

Compared to my version, this one is easier to exchange, if you have access to the bow press. However, if there isn't any of those around, you'd have to make do with classic, tied-on loop, or have some of FreeRotatingLoops, prepared for quick application.

I have two, stashed in the bow quiver top, between the broadhead hood and the spongy stuff. It's a nice place for small stuff like that.
