I'm going to get some snake boots this year. October heere in Central Texas is crawling critter season. I especially don't like the Timber Rattlers and the brush is still thick during our first few tracking jobs.

Been thinkin on some snake boots too. Don't want no snakebit toesies!

Otherwise, my bow purchase pretty much tapped this guy out. Maybe some more arrows or who knows what.

Still trying to figure out where and how to hunt. Not liking the options I'm seeing. :(

Full body harness and maybe some arrows. Side note: Our HR lady was bitten twice by a copperhead up in OK this past weekend. All we know is she is in the hospital. Be careful this season!!!

I'd like to pick up a trail cam, but no money left. Two bows drained me and the daughter is really liking this shooting thing (she'll need a bow that fits her better). I can get a really good deal on a Bowtech rascal, the shop owner said take it home and let her try it. I passed on that, if she tried it, I'd have to buy it. Im already in the dog house. :D

I'm expecting one of my friends to bring me one of those portable Cabela's bow presses when he returns from LA this fall. I guess that'll be all for this year, according to ever-changing priorities...

:(

I'm trying to get another book in print, and it'll bite off quite a chunk out of finances. Oh well. Can't have them all (c)HughHefner
