Ok guys, here it is... The F-28 Report Card! I posted it on TBH and I said I would do the same here so, here it is. I don't have to much time to get online right now with grad school (statistics is kicking my butt) but I will post pics of my new set up when completed. I'm waiting for my local shop to get in my sight. He set it up originally by taking off the original cable slide and putting a Bowtech slide to set up my Diamondback drop away rest... yeuck... then the peep... not the kind I liked....yeuck.... All the time the bow is shooting so immaculately perfect and I couldn't get the full satisfaction because I felt awkward with the set up... There I was shooting and thinking to myself... "how dare someone set up my bow by changing it around!"* :O)* I can be picky at times when people mess with stuff I just bought, especially when it looks as beautiful as the F-28. I sure as heck was glad that the bow shot as good as it looks, and even that is an understatement to how this bow shoots!!!!!

Without Further Ado.... Please Read... For those who read the post on TBH... just read it again... for crying out loud... I'm in LOVE!!!* and there is an ADDITIONAL REPORT AT THE BOTTOM!!!!* * :O)

YEEEEEHAAAAAAA!!!! I was finally able to shoot my new Storm bow today. I recieved it on Tuesday and took it to my local archery shop but he was swamped an unable to get to it untill yesterday. I had a ton of homework and couldn't go and get it yesterday, so today was the day.

Grading:

First, it was beauty and amazement at first sight when I took my new bow out of the box and plastic. Just simply beautiful. I thought to myself, "if this thing shoots as great as it looks, I've got one heck of a bow here"!!! The detail to craftsmanship, the way the camo is laid out, the cams and idler wheel are cut with such precision... truely a creation and a sight to behold! The strings are a lime green with black and the handle is a beautiful wood with Storm Archery engraved... When I put the bow in my hand, the grip fit perrrrrfectly! Imagine a nice loose broken in pair of jeans on a lazy cool day!!! Just an amazing feeling. I drew my new Storm F-28 bow back and it literally came back on its own the darn thing was sooooooo smooth!!! I couldn't believe me. Seriously, it is extremly smooth! I put her back in the box and at lunch took to her to my local shop.

Grade for looks, beauty, and feel = A ++++

At the shop, I chose out all my accessories (sight yet to be chosen, I have a loaner for now untill he gets some more) I got the Cobra Diamondback drop away, Fuse Archery 6" stabilizer, braided sling, sims string leeches, and limb savers, and a small large whole peep that my guy at the shop recommended, but I wasn't to sure about.

As for the accessories, I'm not to pleased with the drop away. It might take some time to get used to no did I like the peep at all... yeuck, peuck.... I am changing the peep sight for sure! I need the bigger peep sight that splits with 2 strings on each side. I will have to make the rest silent by attaching the sticky fleece stuff to it. Also, the shop had to remove the original cable slide to a bowtech one for the installation of the drop away...good slide, but my vanes hit the cables with it...I will have to readjust the nock. I REALLY WISH I HAD JUST GOTTEN THE NAP DROP AWAY!!!! I'm kinda down but I'm sure that with the sight I want and adjusting a couple of things here and there and changing the peep, I will be much happier... Ok... the shooting part...

I first shot it with some carbons that my local shop had, because he set it up for carbons. He didn't know that I shot 2413 aluminums! So I shoot the first carbon arrow. Pull back, (everything works fine with the drop away and the peep sucked but it was just a general shot to become familiar with my new baby girl) and she draws back smooooooth......pause...... squeeze the trigger and I hear the arrow hit the Block but NEVER HEARD OR FELT A FREAKING THING!!!! Of course... a smile grows on my face from ear to ear just as does on a kid who just lost his virginity to the hottest babe in High School!!!!! Chuckle Chuckle, laugh laugh, give me that arrow again, I can't believe what I just felt... or better yet... what I didn't feel or hear! No sound, not shock, no vibration, and the arrow was spit out at such a high speed!!!!! Simply speachless! I have no words to describe the amazing features this bow has. I was pumped... shot a couple of more times but I wanted to know what it would shoot my 2413's like.

After work, picked up my arrows and went to shop and began to let it rip while adjusting the temporary sight.... Same wonderful thing... no noise, vibration, shock, absolutley wonderful and amazing. My 2413's are just flying hard and fast! The owner of the shop was sitting down wathing and talking with me while I was shooting. I shot my last arrow, looked down range, then looked at him, and he says "that thing is spitting those heavy arrows out!" That same smile as described above comes over my face, put my new baby girl down and go get the arrows. Once I got the sight somewhat set.... It was a breaze to shoot a group! This thing was accurate... and I say that because I have not shot in a while and was hitting the bullseye here and there. I know that I need to break her in and get the complete feel for my new bow, but grading for performance of my new Storm F-28 are as follows:

Speed = A++++++ (I can imagine if I switch to carbons)
Accuracy = A++++++
Quietness = A++++++
Shock and Vibration (or lack of)... I have not words or grade! To good to be true... please shoot one to believe!

To the guys at Storm Archery... great ideas, designs, and bows! I'm 100% satisfied and glad to know that you all are customer service oriented!* Pete... thanks for taking the time to speak with me over the phone and answering all my questions. I'm glad I didn't hesitate to try Storm Archery out!!!!

ADDITIONAL REPORT ALERT!!!!
When I wen to go pick up my bow (but was not ready) on Wed of last week, there was a guy in there who just bought a Matthews. I met the guy and we got to talking and I told him I was there to pick up my new baby girl. He asked the usual... "what did I get" questions so I told him. The owner of the shop was working on arrows and right about that time stops, grabs my bow and is handing it over to this guy to hold and look at... he pauses... looks at me and says... "can he touch it"??? I said sure why not... the guy puts it in his hands and smiles a bit says... "dang... this thing is nice... what is it again???""" I said a Storm Archery bow. "Do you mind if I draw it back??"* I said yeah... sure go ahead..... He pulls back and says... "its what, 70 pounds?"* *I told him it was set at 65 pounds. His face changes to a surprised look and brings the bow back down and looks at the owner of the shop and tells him... "how come my Matthews doesn't draw like that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!* he he he he he... lol.... smile from ear to ear and then around again!!!!!* *That was my moment right there...

Ok, sorry for the long post... thanks for everything guys...*
