Need a little help here, Will any camera work in these trail timers? I have a digital camera (kodak) will it fit into one of the trail cams units, or do they only hold the camera tha came with it?

I'm asking because I see the (film) units on sale or clearence alot, but I don't want a film unit. I can buy a Kodak digi. and a film unit *a lot cheaper then a digi, trail cam.

I have a critter visiting my yard at night, I think it is a fox, yote, or maybe a bobcat. I haven't seen any tracks, but have seen a few piles of ...
Last weekend I found a pile of chewed up corn cobs hacked up on the ground in front of my truck. At first I thought maybe a bear, but after the droppings I'm thinking fox or yote. Do they eat corn cobs? They were pretty good sized peices about the size of my thumb. Any Ideas?

Thanks,
Bill

Bill I don't think any camera will work but I could be wrong. I do know there are preferred units that guys look for when building these trail cams. Many find them on ebay. jesseshuntingpages has alot of info on trailcams. You might check that out.

I've never heard of yotes eating corn. I'm not sure about fox but I know big coons will and like to leave their "calling card" everywhere.

Thanks Bill, I'll check out that link.

I never thought of coons. These were pretty good sized chunks it would be a big coon if it coughed these up. Our dog found a porccupine the other day, dumb dog. She had a nice sized bite. :D She wouldn't come need me for a couple days after I plucked all the quills out.
