HELP !! made file in Pocket but numbers do not transfer when opened on PC??

I put in the numbers on the pocket pc saved the file to memory card. Then opened with active sync and saved the file to folder on pc using copy and paste. But when I open the file on my TAP on the PC none of the numbers open its the same numbers that are on a input data sheet none of the numbers transfered or opened on the PC. What am I doing wrong

Although TAP associates .tap files with the program itself double clicking them will not open the program AND the data. We need to open the program first THEN click open in the program and find the saved file.
