I am new to this forum. I just started bow hunting last year with a hand-me-down 18 year old Darton bow. I just ran across a great deal on Storm bows. Haven't heard much about them (not even the name) so I started researching yesterday and it sounds like they are very comparable to the higher dollar "names". I'm going back to this store either tonight or tomorrow to possibly pick one up. I believe they had the F-18, F-6, and F-8. I think I would lean towards one with a longer axle to axle measurement as it should be a bit more forgiving for a new bowhunter like myself.

Thanks for posting the specs. I think I might be leaning towards the F-18. It's longer but not WAY too long. It also has the flexibility for the daw length (I'm around 28). By the way, is this adjustment easy? How is it accomplished?
I am curious about the draw weight on these. What is the range? How is it adjusted (with or without a press)?
Finally, what about let-off?

This isn't my day! I just get what you need to know posted and my system goes down! :(
I'll try it again....
The draw adjustments are fairly easy to do. If you need more than an inch change...you will need to change the module. For minor adjustments you can go to this thread and print off the instructions:

All our bows come with approximately 80% let-off. :D
The F-18 comes with either 60 or 70 pound limbs, whichever you want. To lower the poundage you can turn the limb bolts out, one turn on each limb at a time. We recommend that you order your bow at the poundage that you plan on shooting. :D

You will need a press to work on draw length adjustments :D
