Ultra rest

I am going to mount a QAD ultra rest on my new merlin that I have coming, and was wondering what everyone thinks about them. Any hints on setting them up? I also have a trophy taker that I may try, but I dont like it when the rest comes up at the end of the draw. (That is what lead me to the ultra rest). Thanks

I've been using the UltraRest for about six months and really like it. I have several other drop away rest including the trophy taker and I find the UltraRest to be the best, for me anyway. The only hassle is securing the string to the down cable if you use the supplied clamp. Serving this string to the cable is much easier. If it means anything, I have taken several deer and an elk while using the rest. Plan a Muskox hunt in April with this same setup.

Excellant rest I have been using it for about 4 months now and it is one of the best rests I have used to date and I have gone through plenty of them. You will like it.
