Saw a nice buck this evening

I was putting up a fish feeder on my dock this evening and a nice buck showed up the opposite end of the pond. Looks like he is going to have decent width to him. Judging his size here and being summer I'd have to say a 3 1/2 year old. Got a little video of him. Time to get the game cams back out.

What's the story with the backyard buck this year?* Did he make it through the season last year?

GG I still don't know. Everything changed this year. Deer became real scarce because of the acorn crop and things still aren't back to normal. Seeing few bucks but I know they are here, just not showing. If he made it he would be 4 this year and maybe not prone to come in the yard. I'll wait and see. I'm sure I would know him if he shows.

We've had as many as 9 in the backyard of the new house, there's a couple little bucks in the bunch but they wont be much more than forked horns this year. Haven't seen them together since they dropped the fawns, just one or two here and there.

I hope he made it through the winter, would be cool to see pictures of him this year.
