I have a new merlin max 3000 on the way, and was wondering if the apple bow press will work with it. The one that I have is the red one. The bow has the new limb skins on it, and was wondering if you can still press them with a standard press. Thanks

I'd be surprised if it didn't work. From what I've seen from Merlin (Max 2000 Carbon Limb) I don't think they would leave that base uncovered. Any press that doesn't use the ratchet method will still have rollers and Merlin probably has more than a few of those arround the plant.

yep, the apple will work fine.. just make sure you have it
adjusted long enough to clear the curve in the recurve limb
in order to compress the limb.. otherwise, you'll be putting too
much stress on the limb and could cause small stress cracks/fractures.
