I've been using TAP for years but I never used the offset velocity method until recently. Now there's something I can't explain..
Velocity at bow 230
Velocity downrange 222
Second velocity yards 20
I can understand that with different sight settings the speed varies at a given point because the angle the arrow is shot differs at 20 or 70 yards, but
if I run the ballistic data ( with zero yardage = 20 ) I get my 222 f/s somewhere between 21 and 22 yards, and not at 20 where I would expect it to be.
Can anyone tell me what I'm missing?
