Someone needs to shoot him and put him out of his misery!! How is he suppose to get a doe with all those things on his face?
He kindof reminds me of Larry "the cable guy" talking about his sister with the moles!!! :D

Supposedly it is viral and caused by insects. Not contagious to other deer and only skin deep, the meat is still edible.
Personally, if I see him, I will shoot him to get him out of our herd and then donate the meat.

I killed a deer one time that had one on his leg but I have never seen one on the face.

I i think it is spelled woulves or warbles not sure.
squirrells get them too they are a parasite.

One of our clients showed me a pic of buck he shot in VA, it had so many warts it was unbelievable. I don't see how it survived it had so many around it's face and mouth. Also had a growth sack on the back of its neck.

Its common for of non cancerous Tumors caused by contact with other deer. I saw a Buck deer killed in front of the Great Swamp NWR NJ that had 18# or 24# of growth and it blinded him usually found of rumps and head & faces of deer. Sign of overpopulation in deer. dont hurt the meet. TINK
