I've met/talked to Skip a couple times and aside from him having a great personality, he runs a great message board system too.

He's a web guru that originally built this site, and Martin took it over and renamed it ArcheryTalk. But this site he brought back by popular demand. Skip is also affiliated with the ASA, which he also built their forum amoung others.

Yep I was told that Skip runs several web sites. He posted that he was having knee surgery so that is why he hasn't replied. He will get to it.

Slightly higher than my knee....

Anyway- Its a simple story...

I got the archery bug in 1998, and shortly thereafter, began a local website to keep track of our shooters participating in National tournaments. That site was capitladistrictarchery.com (Named after the Capital district of NY, near where I live)

Prior to that I worked for a company called R&R Technologies, we built setup and maintained networked systems in schools and businesses (PC and system 34 and 36 based)

So anyway, I host and build websites for Archery businesses, do Media and graphics work. and go to Archery tournaments. All in all its alot of fun.

He drove a Jeep with a 350 in it. It sounded like Thunder.

In Skip’s case, then it’s definitely “minor” surgery.

After all, all you need is a coke can and a M-80 firecracker. :D 8)

Come on now! \:D/ Y'all give Skip some respect.

His motto has always been:

"It isn't how big a bat you swing, it's how big you swing the bat!!!" PDT_Armataz_01_41
