Fresh pig in the freezer!!

Went out and checked the pastures for blackberries this evening and look what I found. Not in the hunting section since my 25-06 did the job. Fat young boar that hadn't dropped yet. Saw a big bobcat on the way to this pasture but he stepped out of the way. Told my wife that the good Lord wants me to take my first bobcat with my bow. LOL. :D

Nice work. I've been wanting to try my hand at pig hunting since been in TX, we don't have many back in Ohio. The eastern side of post is supposed to be overrun with them, I just gotta find the time.

Congrats on the pig. I'm going to try sticking a feral hog in about a month. Hopefully a warmup for the upcoming bow season.

I got one in the freezer. Well half of one. The other half we ate... :) I wasn't lucky enough to take her, another hunter took 2 and gave me one. 9 hunters at night (with bows) and only 1 connected, on 2 hawgs!!! Still waiting on my first bow kill hawg... :(
