Wounded Bobcat, how mean?

This evening I was looking out the front of my garage at a couple of deer on the road (live on a private road in the middle of the woods) and all of a sudden a big cat comes out of a patch of woods that is between my house and my front pasture. I run in the house to get my 25-06 and take a shot before he walks into a patch of woods across the road from my house. He DIDN'T run but walked slowly into the patch of woods and then came back out walked a couple of feet and went back in. I started down there and decided about half way down, wait, that sucker could be mean if wounded. Went and got in the truck and looked into the patch of brush (yaupon thicket) as much as I could and decided to look in the morning. Never seen one not run if missed. How mean could this dude get if wounded? It will be cool enough tonight to keep.

I looked a little more in the light of day this AM and it was a clean miss. I still can't believe he came out where I could shoot at him off my front porch. They are usually so elusive.

that is strange, im sorta jealous though...I've yet to see a bobcat in the wild.

Nobody should be scared of, say big #####, ABH! There's ways to even make tigers meow.
