Just curious as to what other shafts are perfoming at the highest level besides the Easton stuff. Please I am not interested in the short distance 3-D stuff! :) Ken

Yes, I am using Goldtips for everything. These shafts are great for field and really not bad for fita either....although I am pushing them to develop a small diameter fita shaft. Doug Williams does very well with his outdoors for field.

I am shooting CAE Phantom Pros that I purchase from Larry Wise. I would not consider myself a high level competitor, but I won the Alaska State Field in BHFS with these arrows. These arrows have grouped just as tight as ACC's out to 90 meters in my testing. Very light and very consistant.

CAE Phantom Pro 4560's for my 50# setup. They may end up a little stiff for a lightweight setup. Just go to www.larrywise.com and get Larry's phone number... give him a call 8)

Ken, maybe you need to have Sally shoot some Walmart specials when you are shooting together. Then you can own the middle

Not sure if you are looking specifically for a non-Easton product, but I have to say that x10's are extremely tough!!! I am convinced at this point that the cost is worth it due to the longevity if nothing else. Buying pins and nocks all the time does however, cut into the beer money :P

The Ultralight Pros are made to exacting tolerances.........

My 22's really held up to Sage abuse this past season. I have enough left to do it all over with again!

I shoot CarbonTech Whitetails for everything. 3D, Indoor, Field. When I had a FITA bow I used Mckinney 188s.

Ken,

You will see a lot of people using the Ultralight pro shafts here's the link Ultralight Pro (http://www.goldtip.com/products/family.asp?cid=4-0293CD79-DB84-4252-84C3-44C1FBB83692&rnd=29500951) because they are very light weight. I myself for field rounds like a bit heavier arrow and I know this was the case with Doug Williams too we were both shooting the Goldtip Pro Hunter shafts. They weigh more grains per inch. Here is the link for those Pro Hunter (http://www.goldtip.com/products/family.asp?cid=1-7D1DFD0F-2692-4069-9EDB-424BA588B64D&rnd=29500974)

As far as the toughness of this shaft...you will not break them (or it's going to very hard to do so). I use the Titanium magnock pins in them and ther are like new yet. I have also used a unibushing and had excellent results. They are great shafts. Hope this helps.

Oh, and Doug and I were both using the 55/75 Pro Hunters with a spine of .400 with 100 gr. nibbs. 8)
