When I reply to a thread and click POST, it takes me back to the main page......how can I set it up to take me to what I just posted instead??? (clear as mud :?) WR

...DUBBYA ARE, there is a box you can check that asks..."Return to this TOPIC" ...

...check that box to return you to the TOPIC after you have post.ed to it..

...you will find it under the ADDITIONAL OPTIONS area to the bottom left of the reply box...click on it to open the additional options area :icon_cool:

Here's one that seems fairly new.

When I click the Quote Button to reply to a post, it punts down to the Quick Reply Box rather than going to the standard Reply Screen. That means that I don't get to pic all the neato little smileys unless I go back and Edit the reply. :(

I don't think it used to do that and I haven't found a preference box in the Profile Setup so far to change it. Did I miss something?

Go into your profile and on the left hand side there is a box that says modify profile. Under that there is a look and layout preference

Toward the bottom of the new window there is a caption that reads "Use quick reply on topic display" set it to dont show at all and see if that fixes your problem

Yup. Thanks Erik. Set it to "Don't show - Default"

Found something else. If the Quick Reply is showing at the bottom, you can hit the little "inverted triangle" minimize button to make it go away ... and then when you hit Quote, it works like usual too.
