On these 2 sights with the spool of fibers, how do you replace broken pins? I'm trying to narrow down my choice for an elk hunting sight.

I dont have my impact in front of me, but there are 2 allen head screws on the side of the housing around the fiber spools. You unscrew the 2 allens, pull the cover off, and remove the pin/fiber color your want to replace.

:D* *I was in my buddy's shop yesterday and was very impressed with the Cobra Sidewinder system, he had one in the three pin and five pin models but I have to tell ya I liked the five pin better.* I could not believe how bright the sight was out of the package, without the assistance of a blue light that he had attached to his bow.* I shoot the Spot-Hogg Hogg-It but I gotta tell ya if I did not spend the money that I did on my sight I would and am tempted to pick one up for hunting.* I had just come in from a hog hunt and with my Spot-Hogg and the small amount of fiber optic it has when it got close to dark I was in trouble.* I would recommend this sight to anyone who is in the market for a new system, but I was not that impressed with the Impact that was there. :D :D :D

I just got a Sidewinder LX for my Legacy. Yep - brightest sight I'v ever owned! Tough too. (Havn't field tested it yet though)
I have not puled it apart to look at changing the pins YET. I would actually like to remove 1 pin to make it a 4 pin gig, but like I said, I havnt tinkered yet.
