for no reason what so ever this one FATBOY flys 4 inches lower !
I spun them their good . I never has one do this! I had some go left & right but not DOWN!
I was making the switch for 3-d to the fatboys from a/c/c 's but I can put a a/c/c were ever I want it to go. these arrows catch the wind real bad. also I had duravanes 3-d 2 inch vanes on them & they were awful in the wind .

what would you suggest for vanes in HIGH WINDS ??
I need to get good flight out side in a PA. WINTER ? (WHEN IT GETS HERE!

...could be something as simple as a bad nock...put a new one in there and re-try...

...if it's not that...maybe someone else can help you

jaydse, Don hit on what may be the culprit. Try a new nock. Make sure it feels like it fits the string the same as the others.

Personally, I would use 2.3" duravanes on fatboys. If you are worried about catching too much wind, why not go back to your ACC`s?

BTW, is that 3-D on the 18th right at that archery shop? I have a couple of diehard 3-ders that want to go.

YES we were shooting yesterday ! had 15 targets out . the wind was a killer! cold but still fun! I think theirs going to be 22 or so rienharts. he's going to keep them @ 35-to 40 max for hunters also. It's laid out like the one in Indiana & youngwood was. all the targets in a field 1 through 22 know what I mean ?
I wanted to try the line cutters for the league shoots can get a couple more points I will try changeing nocks. vanes are 2.3 duravanes.

could be a variety of differant things.....

it could weigh a few grains more....
it could be spined just slightly differant....
it could also be a bad nock or fletching.......make sure the fletching is turned the same as the others.....

and it could be a combination of all of the above......

As posted above..... probably the nock. The nock might be a little tighter on the string than the others.

If you get the same result.... try just turning the nock 120 degrees and re-shoot it & see how it does.
