I am south of St. Louis. I have 2 F-28 E-1's and everyone that shoots one of them wants to buy it on the spot. I can't tell them were to go to get one!! All we get is Hoyt and Mathews shoved down our throats.

Have one about an hour from me. I've talked to them several times on the phone, and to be honest I was not impressed. I called to ask about a Storm F-6 and they tried to push another brand on me. I've shot and owned quite a few different bows over the last few years but am really sold on the Storms. I've got 6 to 8 shops near me, just thinking real quick about the bigger ones, I know there are also some smaller shops I'm not thinking of right now.
Kame's Sports Center is probably the biggest dealer of hunting and fishing products in NE Ohio and it just so happens the General Manager/Product Buyer is the brother-in-law of a very good friend of mine. I was told by my buddy they are looking to expand upon their archery section, and it is pretty big now.
I also have Fin-Fur-Feather about an hour and half from me in Ashland Ohio. They are HUGE!!! They just built, maybe 2 years ago now, a multi million dollar retail facility.
I would love to present Storm bows to some of these dealers and see if we can get a good Storm product base in Ohio. Everybody that has been over to my house and has messed with the Storm F-28E1's I have, have walked away VERY impressed. They've asked me where they can get one. I refered them to the above mentioned dealer and I have talked to them since and they told me the same story of having another product line pushed on them. We have Mathews and PSE drove down our throat in this area. I'm not downing Mathews because I shot and still do own a Mathews Legacy (for sale by the way :))
but I would sure love to see Storm get their product established in this area of NE Ohio or Ohio in general. We are a BIG bowhunting state, we have a season that starts Oct. 1st and runs until Jan 31st. Alot of big bucks taken in Ohio and it is starting to gain national attention as a destination for big bucks. Although Ohio allows crossbows in the general archery season we are still a 50/50 state of crossbow-conventional bow. Well I think I've rambled on enough for now :)

Tell your buddy to ask his brother-in-law to contact Storm.

He can do through the website or call them. :D

If they are interested or would like for Pete or Edgell to come see them I am sure it can be arranged. :)

I'd like to see some more Storm dealers in Ohio!

Your right...but we have had several inquiries from Michigan...looks like we will have a few more by the first of the year! :)

If you have a dealer close by, let them know you would like to see them become a dealer for Storm.

Just for general info to everyone...

I bought my Elite sight unseen. I spent a good deal of time talking on the phone with ET (Edgell Terry) as others have done with the other Storm principles. With much info in my brain housing group, I made my decision and decided to go with it. Best decision I've ever made! And this despite the fact that I'd done the sight-unseen once before and had gotten burned badly.

The moral of the story is that if you spend a little time on the phone with the Storm folks, it could easily be worth your time even though there may not be a dealer in your area!

The website lists four dealers in PA; the closest is about an hour away. Not really that far, but I stuck with Hunters Friend in KY when I decided on my Elite. I've had GREAT experience with Mike and crew before, so they got my business again.

It would be nice to have one a bit closer...you never know when I am going to do something stupid and need some factory-type help :icon_tongue:

Londa, there will be several shop owners and staff shooters from all over Missouri and other states at the BRS :)
It would be outstanding to have some of Storms bows there for folks to look at and maybe shoot. We sure don't have any problem with that, it would be great to have companies represent their products at the BRS.
Practice range on hand, Sims across the road from camp grounds.........shade at my camping spot (#38) anything & everything we could want as archers will be at hand.
BUT........We want you folks heere to meet all the fine folks from these archery sites and others that don't even belong to any archery site ??? :D The BRS is all about getting you away from work and having the time of your life..........will you be tired and wore out when you leave Missouri ??? .........Yes you will, or we are doing something wrong :D
It's up to y'all.........but probably not a bad spot to let people see your product :) After all, it's about archery and having fun.......you already know that ole DUBBYA ARE has questions :D

Interesting side note to this... Jim had never heard of Storm before the Archery Trade Show this January. After getting to shoot them and talking with the folks there in the booth, he was hooked! That's all that it takes when you've shot a Storm. They sell themselves!

I know I would love to open my own shop and carry a full line of Storm Bows,,be careful of WHO you pick in the Indpls area,, there are a couple out of 3 that everyone is getting tired of dealing with. I know this because their customers are coming to me,,lol,, and I just do little stuff out of my garage,,so that tells a lot about them.

Well saturday in the midst of tearing a washing machine apart a friend of my wifes uncle stopped by with his bow,a Mathews Legacy. He wanted a new string and re-set up and told him no prob,,had him shoot on the chrony to see what he was shooting for a reference point,,the bow was suppossed to be set on 68 lbs. with a 340 grn arrow and 28 1/2 inch draw,, he was shooting 295 fps. The bow only has a IBO of 308,, so being that close with that short of a draw seemed odd. To top it off when I put the bow on my scale it was only set on 60 lbs. I weighed the arrow and it was 340 grns. so that added to my disbelief?? After taking the string and cable off and checking the factory sticker lengths I started measuring,, the string was ok for being old,,but the cable was 3/8 of inch short,,the bow doc was rolling the cam back to boost his short draw speed. The limb bolts were backed out almost 3 full turns each,, I called the guy and told him what had happened and explained that if I do his bow I will put the string and cable at factory length and after he has 100 or so shots he can bring it bcak and I will fine tune it,,I also explained to him that he wouldn`t be seeing that kind of speed either and what all was wrong with his set up,, he was reluctant but agreed that I do what I felt was best for the bow. The shop that did this is a little west of indy and is a prime example of what we have here in Indy. There are some that do good work,,but their are alot of self proclaimed hot rod docs that go to extremes with great equipment and cost the customers later.
