I am very new to this archery stuff and have no idea what I need to do for bow maintenance, tuning or anything else that I need to do. Any help would be greatly appriciated, and remember that I don't know what any of this means and I need it in very "dummy" terms. I thank you all for your help in advance.

Wax for the string!! Center shot aligner..... Or simply go to your closest dealer and ask question's.. Another good way to get some advice is your local 3-D range or indoor range if available... There are also some very good video's that you can Google.. You can also search right here on asn for some threads>>> WR has one on burning D-loop balls.. Good Luck.. Maybe some of the rest of the gang here on ASN will chime in as well.

what I use most in my home shop is a paper tuning rack and a bow press. then you need some string serving. maybe some D loop cord. allen wrenches. dental floss (the duct tape of the archery world). and a big junk box full of screws,nuts C clips old sights,arrow rest, releases. in other words, dont throw away anything. you might need it sometime.:D
