View Full Version : What are you shooting for 2005
Just curious what everyone will be shooting for 2005.
Looks like it will be an Ovation indoors for me and The jury is out on the 3d bow, thinking about shooting the Icon for '05 (unless Mathews has a neat shooter at the ATA show...

I haven't made up my mind yet but it is either the PSE Primos or the Mach Pro.
The Primos with the hybrid cam should make good speed, and its got great brace ht...
Sounds like a good choice....

I think I'm in the same boat. As for the Mathews C-Apex, and Switchback I will not be able to test drive until around Christmas. I'm hoping they have something more for the target department come January. I'm a Spottie, so I guess it's the only preference I have for now, until then we shall see........No hurry!

03' PSE Primos STL. I'd like a Scorpion, but now I'll wait and see what the hybrids are like. No archery clubs within an hour of me, so I compete against myself a lot. Upside, I always win. Downside, I always lose...
I was going to get a new bow this year for 3D But I just might be shooting the old trusty Protec again. I just dont see anything yet to take the place of it.
Brent, I am in SE Missouri, there will be a lot of 3D shoots down this way starting around Feb. If you are interested in them let me know.

Are you talking about the Bishop? That is one sweet bow. I shot it a couple of weeks ago and mine is already ordered!!!

since I ordered the mathews conquest apex, I will probably be shooting that for indoors, so I can get the feel for it-- for outdoor target( I ordered it for long distance target shooting. But it might make me buy another for indoor shooting also.
the new mathews recurve that comes out in January(so I heard anyway)(this bow was to be released around the olympics, then they decided to release it at the ata show)it has been a long time since shooting with fingers seriosly, so this will be very challenging and fun to do(but in order to make the time for this new style, I will have to hang up the 3d bow for awhile, but I am ok with that.
but if the apex does not turn out to shoot better than my mathews conquest's, I will be forced to shoot my 3 beautiful conquest 2's!!!

Right now I'm shooting a BowTech Pro38 and love it to death so when I get back to the states I'm probably gonna buy a Pro40 for all things target. At least until I can talk Mrs. Panzer into letting my fork out some more cash for a indoor bow that is.
