And man, am I raw! ;)
Got a Martin Recurve and nothing else. I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess I need some arrows and other things, right?
Suggestions on a beginner's kit?
I read that you guys like pictures, but how do I upload them? Or do I have to already have them hosted on the net somewhere?

arrows would be a good idea... a thicker walled aluminum wouldn't be too 'spensive and would be fairly easy to tune to the setup... tab or glove... shot glove for like a bazillion years then switched to tab a couple years ago... and a quiver of some sort... extra strings would be nice... some more arrows, ones that are capped and dipped, and custom fletched... good assortment of points... oh yeah, BOW CASE... um... how moch money do you make yearly?

I was kind of hoping to stay "all natural" with wooden arrows etc.* I'm not a hunter, just a shooter, so I don't need broadheads and all that, just target stuff.
I think I'd prefer to try the glove first. Do I need an arm guard, or are those for sissies? ;)
Umm, I make lots of $/year? Relatively. Lemme guess, expensive hobby?* :D
Getting set up, will post pics of the bow when I get a chance...

It's best to start off with an arm guard. You'll slap your arm a few times as your form improves. I stopped using one after about six months, though.
Gloves limit where you can place the string on your fingers. You're pretty much restricted to the fingertips and the groove of the first knuckle. I prefer a deeper hook, halfway between the creases, since (counter-intuitively) this gives a cleaner loose. I'd recommend a Wilson Black Widow tab.
Other equipment:
arrows yes indeed :)
perhaps a stick-on arrow rest, unless you plan to shoot off the shelf
a Range-O-Matic Formaster, for training purposes -- not essential, but it's a big help to me

I second the Black Widow tab... switched a couple of years ago after shooting a cordovan leather glove.. much cleaner loose...
Wood arrows, huh? Well, tell ya what... Ma at Rogue River tells me that Three Rivers is selling their stuff now; so call her, or Triple Ripples..
