does anyone know anything about wing archery?

i have a target bow made by wing archery. its a 70in. take down with a 33# draw. it was handed down to me by my great uncle so i know the bow is at least older than i. any information would be appreciated.

Wing archery was or is? A company that was owned by Hall of Famer Bob Lee...

I dont know if it is still in business or not...

im familiar with wing archery and bob lee, i was interested in how old the bow may be. written on a limb is "slim line" i dont know if that would help or not. my great uncle shot competition with it and i hear he was pretty good.

well they started making slim lines in 71 or 72 I know we probably have some info or a brochure on them at the shop. I am pretty sure they were around for a few (4 or 5) years anyway... Wing was the first (Or one of the first) to narrow the grip to remove the torque from the big grips of the day..

Slim, Wing Archery was started by Bob Lee many moons ago. I also think Mr.Lee was the first to introduce the take down bow when he had Wing Archery. I believe Wing faded out and he and his son Rob concentrated more on the parent company Bob Lee Archery. Until as of late Wing has been re-introduced to the Bob Lee company and these new bows are sweet looking. I believe if you go to www.bobleearchery.com you'll find out more info or you can just call them they are very fine folks.
