OK, last year I went back to Muzzy's!!! I had been using the Montecs after trying many different broadheads! I decided that I was tired of paying what I have felt was too much for broadheads! The old style Muzzy's fly well and are proven to be very lethal!!! So..... I was browsing a classified section and came across a real steal on the 3 blade Rage!!!! And why in the world I did it, I don't know, but I bought them!!!!! :BangHead: :BangHead: :BangHead: So here is my question, how many different broadheads to you try each year???

I field test them all the time:) Use to shoot thunder heads untill about 2 years ago..... Switched to crimson talons and have not looked back. All Broad Heads are fine just llike bows untill you have a problem with them U usually don't switch;) Just my 2:5blindfold:

MM what was wrong with your Rage heads.? ???
I have used Rocky Mountian Snypers for years and had nothing but great results . They are the same head as the Rage only at a better price . The last two years I have shot deer with Slick Tricks and Crimson Talons , they died TOO !!!:D

Gotta love the old tried and true savora contender.Shot them for the last 10 years I guess. But last yr I tried a few different heads including the slick trick, and rage 2 blade. Both worked very well. I was very impressed with the rage as far a entry/exit hole size. Slick tricks fly great and kill stuff dead. But I still have 30 or so contenders to shoot up so I better find a few more places that are overrun with deer. dcl

Bob, I haven't even shot them yet! There is nothing wrong with them that I know of, I just don't know why I decided to try them, I really love my Muzzy's!!!!!
not another poll!! :p I usually try out a few since we have such liberal limits and I take advantage of them. :D Although I am done with fixed blades for deer. I keep the ones I have bought for coons and such. I'm going to try Grim Reapers this fall but the Spitfire is my go to head. I also have some Wasp Jak Hammers I might try as well. Blood trails with mechanicals are mind boggling.
I have had great success with Muzzy I have no need to change .... If it ain't broke....
Slick tricks for deer. That's all I'll use.

I've used Muzzy, Thunderheads, Razorback 5's, Eastman Silver Strikes, Grim Reapers, and Hypershock 125's. Of those, I'd use GR's or Muzzys again in a heartbeat. Not sure yet what I'm shooting this season, probably Reapers.
