Here's a couple more pics from my front yard. Have posted the big guy on here already. Today I had a Sharp-shinned hawk take a couple sparrows off the birdfeeder. Kind of a double-edged birdfeeder huh? :)

No I have not since they only leave the state park to venture into the neighborhood at night. The skinheads show up early evening and late morning of course but these guys stop by between 1 and 4AM.

Same thing behind my house, my bird feeder is usually empty by morning.

Not a trail cam photo but this was in the local paper this weekend. Seems this doe has been visiting a feeder on the other side of the state park property. The homeowner said she has seen this doe with an arrow thru it's head for about 7 weeks now. (Best I can tell from the grainy newspaper pic is that it's just thru the skin in front and below the eye) She's reported to be acting normally as all the other deer she is with. The Conservation agent quoted in the article stated that the hunter who shot this animal probably misfired or lacked experience because of the location---- DUH!! I sure hope that we archers don't get get a public outcry from this. The agent and the vet the lady called in on this both agreed the best thing to do would be nothing----let it be. I find it interesting that there was no mention of the idea to put an arrow in the proper place and put an end to the speculation if in fact the animal is suffering in any way.
