PHOENIX, Ariz. - This weekend the Columbia archery team competed at the prestigious Arizona Cup in Phoenix, Ariz. The tournament features archers from all over the United States in addition to competitors from Canada and Mexico. The Lions' top finisher was Margot Stuchin who placed seventh in the women's recurve division with her teammate, Sara Mancini just behind her in ninth. Eight Columbia archers traveled south to compete in the tournament, including five recurve shooters and three compound shooters. In just their second outdoor tournament of the season, Columbia faired well against the tough competition. On the first day of competition, the archers shot from 70 meters and 60 meters, and on day two they shot from 50 and 30 meters.
