My friend and co-worker went out to take down a tree stand this morning and apparently fell. At the very least he has a compound fracture in one leg, and may have a broken back. The last report we got he had no feeling in his legs. Please pray for Garvin's quick recovery.

Consider those Prayers already out my friend. In that crazy way that GOD, our Creator has, he had me start praying last night for some other folks I know locally who are needing His help and I was very much impressed with the thought that I needed to pray for other folks I didn't know!

May He be with you also for Garvin's benefit. Here's why: The lesson for me last night was not just the need for prayer, but the need for INTENSITY in our emotions when praying. That when we put some real force and energy into our thoughts and words, that prayer becomes incredibly POWERFUL. In the spiritual world this is pretty well known, in the world of science it's a slice of quantum physics where "thoughts" are considered "matter", thus have mass. Put some acceleration to your prayers and they happen!

(physics) the influence that produces a change in a physical quantity
"force equals mass times acceleration"

For a while now and mostly unknown to most folks, science has been slowly tripping towards spirituality. Do a google search for "David Bohm" or "Super Hologram Theory".

Try this to start with:
In his groundbreaking theory of "wholeness and the implicate order", Bohm proposed a new model of reality (To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 1 or greater. Bohm's concept of totality included both matter and mind.
Bohm also mentioned the dangers we face as a society and the changes we will have to make in our thinking in order to have a future. He said we need a more holistic approach to the ecological problem and must find something else in life besides economic growth; if it continues unchecked, it will destroy the planet. The emerging change in consciousness is the challenge and the key: "Our future depends on whether we feel like part of this one whole or whether we feel we're separate."

David Bohm was one of the world's greatest quantum mechanical physicists and philosophersand was deeply influenced by both J. Krishnamurti and Einstein (To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 1 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.).

"In the book Think And Grow Rich, by Napoleon Hill, he says "...thought, backed by strong DESIRE, has the tendency to transmute itself into its physical equivalent." Very Powerful stuff!"

I'm sorry if this seems rather odd to some folks reading this when BC only asked for prayers, but I felt obligated to add this all in. I'd say someone needed to read this information in some way. He has His reasons for putting the thoughts in my brain! Anymore... I don't question when I get these feelings, I just act on them knowing that His will is done.

Thank you for your prayers guys. We did not recieve a good report for Garv today. His spine is broken in 3 or 4 places and has a "complete spinal injury" and barring a miracle will be paralized from the waist down. He lay in the woods after the fall for 2-3 hours and says that 15 more min and he would not have made it out. The buddy who saved his life said that he would not have found him if there weren't a little tracking snow on the ground. He didn't even know Garv had a stand at this spot. Most importantly, he is alive and in good spirits considering and will fight through this and turn this into something positive. Please keep praying, we are still believing for a miracle from God.
